Submit your nomination by March 1, 2025

The Arizona Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AZANA) is accepting nominations for the 2025 Annual Gala/Awards Ceremony.  

All submittals will be recognized and awards to the winning entries in each category will be presented at AZANA's Awards Gala on Saturday, April 5th.  This awards program is open to all members to nominate a worthy recipient.

Nomination Categories:

• David Vertullo Physician of the Year - This award is for a Physician who promotes CRNA's and the CRNA profession.  This position does not have to be an anesthesiologist, but any physician who values the work of CRNAs.
• Clinician of the Year - This award is for a CRNA who is actively working in the field doing anesthesia and who has gone above and beyond in the past year in his/her job.
• Jeanette S. Boone CRNA of the Year - This award is for a CRNA (active or inactive in doing anesthesia) who has gone above and beyond to help promote and advance the profession.

Nomination Process:
Members may submit one of each category.  The AZANA Board of Directors will make the final decision in each category.
